Helen Altman creates two-dimensional imagery through her well known torch drawing technique.  This approach emphasizes the delicate balance of nature through vaious domestic and wild animals that occupy her work space.  Altman uses images of nature in very unnatural ways to challenge the viewer to consider the benefit and beauty of the world.
