Julian Opie was born in london, England in 1958. He currently lives in london. Opie’s work is a semiotic (science and language of signs) study of the environment surrounding him. The flatness of his work plays with historic issues in modern and contemporary art. Opie has exhibited widely in Europe and in The United States.
